| 1 | The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. | ||||
| 2 | He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
| ||||
| 3 | He restoreth my soul:
| ||||
| 4 | Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
| ||||
| 5 | Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies:
| ||||
| 6 | Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:

The 23rd Psalm - not exactly short
A most beautiful Psalm of David
“As for me, I will behold Your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I AWAKE, with Your likeness.”
(Psa. 17:15) Holy Bible
I noticed this beautiful psalm when I was reading on page:
http://rcg.org/books/itlad.html about The Restored Church of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ
Lord Jesus
tried to teach us
forgiveness
truthfulness
not to worry
not to be greedy
to be trustworthy
in dealing with people
And to greet people
That means everybody
not just friends and family
to have compassion
not place high importance
on all your possessions
to bear fruit of
faith joy love
patience goodness
kindness gentleness
and righteousness
to give
good gifts
how to pray
live for today
to hate sin
that comes from within
greed, malice, deceit,
adultery, envy, folly
In Jesus own words
He tells us to live by his words
There is no denying
he is still trying
Jesus said:
"For from within, out of men's hearts, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these things come from inside and make a man unclean’."
None of us could honestly claim to bring such fruit by our own effort. Elsewhere in the Bible we are instructed that this fruit consists of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness and self-control.
I wrote this poem with the help of this website:
